Kungfu Hotpot: Reviews & Ratings
Went here for bbq and pretty decent experience. It is like a true buffet that you not only pick food but also pick your own utensils, drinks, etc. Very convenient as you can use the tablet for almost everything (even ask for grill change). Most meats are good but the black pepper beef is really bad, too many tendons embedded, almost not eatable.
Great place to eat. Andy our server was great! He made sure we were satisfied and we had everything we needed. The food was great and we all enjoy it. They are very popular and the place can be busy especially if you have a party of more than 8. The food is fresh and the broth is refilled as you eat. Regarding the price it’s suitable for the amount of food that is served.Price range from $12.99 for children under 11 year old to $24.99 for adult.
Loved this place for what they had to offer. Had no time limit on dining and had plenty of food options. My main grievance is their options not all being tender cuts. Some meats come out very tough and unappetizing. However, the good cuts were great and we ordered a lot of those. The lighting feels sterile with strong white lights. A slightly warmer color would be more welcoming.
This establishment is one of few Hotpot restaurants in Delaware. Although you have more options in Philly Chinatown, by the time you factor in sales tax and parking fees, you're better off visiting this place if you resides in Delaware. It is all you can eat at a set price. Pricing is competitive when compared to others and ones in Philly. The quality of cuts of meats is good. However, it does not offer premium types such as American Wagyu, nor imported Wagyu. They also offer a good selection on condiments and sauces. So if you have not had a chance to try out Hotpot, give this place a try.
My boyfriend and I eat here at least once a month. Maybe twice if we can afford it. We LOVE Hotpot. They are always consistent and have the sweetest staff. I am allergic to nuts and unfortunately they keep the soy next to the peanut sauce but are happy to get me fresh soy sauce every time I come with no complaints. We will always recommend this place!!!
I've been going here for a while now and I always love the selection and the taste of the hot pot broths. I don't go here for the BBQ but I always recommend the hot pot. The ingredients are fresh and the workers are pleasant.
Almost a year did not patronize, today in a friend's invitation to come again to eat hot pot. The food was completely different and refreshing. The meat products were fresh and there was an extra area for self-service selection. Really very good! Will go again.
My new favorite hotpot place. Honestly, this is the most affordable hotpot restaurant I have ever been too. They also have large sized tables that offer lots of room. We ordered the all you can eat hotpot for $24 per person. It was perfect! Yes, you are sacrificing some of the normal service options you get from other hotpot places, like the explanation and lesson on cooking, but for the price, I am good! You will never feel like you didn't get enough. It's mostly a "figure it out yourself" kind of place, but they will help if you ask. Honestly, I appreciated the hands-off approach with the room to go up and get all the hotpot broth items on your own. You also keep the tablet and can add more items, if you need it. I will definitely be back with my own BYOB next time. The drink options are the only thing I wouldn't mind an improvement on. They only offer cans of soda you get yourself. My kids loved it, but I don't like soda. I can deal with that for all the other bonus. Tips for others: you go to the back to get all your own broth seasoning, flavor items, and utensils; most of the items in the back are labeled but ask if you aren't sure; broth is also unlimited and they come around offering fill-ups; and bring the tablet up with you to pay the bill.
